We celebrated Ron's Dad's 80th birthday: each of the kids came out and gave a little talk about their Dad. These siblings haven't been together very much over the years, so it was a pretty neat event.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast on Muskoka River the first few days and it was a beautiful place.....then we stayed in a cabin with a bunch of extended family. It was great to be there and get to spend time together playing games, going to the beach and generally having a great time.
yup, he brought me flowers...I wanted to see what a water lily looked like close up, so he paddled over and got me a few!

Samuel, the duck whisperer!! He enjoyed the beaches, swinging off the rope into the water, sliding down the falls, trying to set off a fire bomb, and other such fun stuff!!
All in all, it was a great holiday which we hope to make again next year!!
Then we came home and finished up some painting, flooring, and generally moving in!!
