Would you go to the hospital and have it checked? What would you do when they told you that the cut needed stitches? I know, tell them that you just can't handle waiting another hour to get it done, so just request steri-strips. Then when you get home and the steri-strips come off, what would you do? I know, pull a sock over the foot, it will soak up the blood and then you won't have to worry about it. But then, what about when the foot is still hurting in a few days, and the foot is now black? Run right back to the hospital and have them take a look at it. When they x-ray it and say it is broken, get that cast on, but don't leave it on too long, right? What comes next? Go to the walk-in clinic, of course, and tell them it is time for the cast to come off. When it is off and they say that there shouldn't still be blood on the cut, what would you do? I know, I know- pull a sock over the foot- it will soak up the blood!!
